Welcome to the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home.
The New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home is a non-profit, non-sectarian, skilled nursing facility that has provided exceptional nursing and rehabilitation care for over 50 years. In keeping with its founding principles, NBJCH embraces Jewish tradition and customs while welcoming people of all faiths. Throughout the years our residents and their family members have been united in their praise of the quality of care and compassionate care delivery.
NBJCH is a warm and welcoming place. In our caring environment residents are comfortable in their rooms and in the light and airy public spaces, especially our sitting room where families can gather to enjoy conversation and visits with their loved ones.
- Our nursing services provide both skilled and non-skilled care, twenty-four hours a day, delivered in a dignified and supportive manner.
- Our rehabilitation program philosophy is on treating the whole person using an interdisciplinary approach that combines physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy in concert with nursing care.
- Our activities program provides a full range of stimulating activities to address our residents’ physical, cognitive, social and spiritual needs.
Within our home’s comfortable, relaxed atmosphere our residents receive a highly sophisticated level of care. Our commitment to quality shines through every day and is exemplified by our residents’ outcomes and resident and family satisfaction levels that meet and exceed expectations.
